Buildings account for nearly 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions. With the recent state commitments to carbon neutrality, efforts are being made to decarbonize buildings by applying energy efficiency, renewable energy and smart building technology.
AmCham Shanghai’s Real Estate, Construction & Design Committee and the Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility Committee will jointly host a session on Decarbonising China’s Buildings on June 29 from 4-6 pm at 25F Shui On Plaza.
Speakers will share their views on the critical steps needed to achieve net-zero from the perspectives of the developer, tenant and other stakeholders in the real estate ecosystem.
