BeyondBAU Executive Workshop: Millennials and Sustainability

While making up the majority of the global workforce, many firms are still struggling to attract, inspire and manage their millennials, and through this workshop, we will discuss how to use sustainability as a hook to keep millennials working more productively and staying longer.

Through this workshop participants will learn about and be engaged on the following questions:

  • What are millennials current attitudes towards sustainability, and what are the issues they actually care about?
  • How can sustainability be an HR tool for attraction, retention and productivity?
  • What are the methods internal communication professionals can use to deliver your sustainability vision to engage millennials?

More information regarding the session will be provided in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, we hope that you will take note of the event details below.

Speaker bio:

Alex wears two Haworth hats in Asia Pacific:  Sustainability Manager and Collaborative Product Line Manager.

The two roles are tightly interwoven. The Collaborative furniture segment is Haworth Asia’s fastest-growing product portfolio. Alex has overseen several dozen products localized in Shanghai in the past few years; ensuring these products are as healthy as possible is a key component of the localizations.

Alex believes that there is no finish line with sustainability – there is always something next. He implements this philosophy of Continuous Improvement, along with other global Haworth sustainability initiatives, in the varied, distinct subregions of Asia Pacific. Each subregion requires a different approach, and every local office represents an opportunity for Haworth to be an impact partner in the community.

Healthy products are just the first step when looking after the health of people using Haworth’s furniture in their spaces. Alex also advises Haworth’s clients and partners on wellness initiatives like indoor air quality optimization and acoustics management.
