With corporate’s PR and communication professionals’ worst nightmare being handling crisis response, and many brands are getting tired of playing defense, other firms are showing that there is a model for building social capital by leveraging their sustainability stories, be it social, environmental or economic.

For this workshop we will discuss several cases, as well as the tactics and tools to help you understand how to position your brand to tell your sustainability story so that you can start building the social capital that you need to whether storms better.

Joining us for this session, we have PT Black, Senior Director of Brand Experience and Planning at Nike, who will share about Nike’s recent work on women in sport, athletes of all abilities, and their new sustainable products while also helping to answer the following questions:

  • How can you leverage the sustainability work you are doing to build markets?
  • How are B2B and B2C business approaches different?
  • What is special about your sustainability story? How can you create an unique angle to an industry expectation or challenge?

Following his presentation, we have arranged for a workshop challenge focused on how to communicate sustainability, and created a scenario where you will be able to put your knowledge into practice.
