Bayer Material Sciences Summit:

Solving the Material Challenges of Built Environments

Held on May 6th, industry leaders, NGOs, and students from leading universities will bring their expertise from different fields to address the current and future challenges of the built environment, and in particular the sustainability of materials used to build, fit-out, and furnish buildings, while reducing the various environmental, social, and economic pressures that come with rapid urbanization.

We aim at generating tangible outcomes with real-life applicability, with participants working towards a collaborative vision for sustainable construction practices, empowered by product and process innovation and, perhaps more significantly, consumer expectations.

Through a series of interactive workshops, leaders from the chemical, furniture, construction and property development industries have been invited as participants to share the challenges that they are already facing, and believe will grow in size as China continues to urbanize over the next 20 years.

Participants will be inspired individually and engaged collectively to leverage their skills, experience, and organizational resources as solution providers, and we hope that you will be able to join us for this event.
