Obama and President Xi of China Vow to Sign Paris Climate Accord Promptly

Obama and Xi Jinping announced this week that they will both be signing the Paris Climate Change Agreement on Earth day, April 22. Along with other world leaders, this joint signing will represent the largest in history, but will only be legally enforceable if the signing parties account for 55% or more of global greenhouse gases.
