[Collective Forum] Building a Socially Minded Business

About the Event

With innovation and entrepreneurship being seen as the medium through which solutions to the “big” problems we face are delivered, this month we are inviting two entrepreneurs to talk about their experience building successful businesses where diversity and inclusion are the core of their businesses.

Be it a physical or a mental challenge, China today is home to more than 18 million individuals living with a disability.  For many of these individuals, they are locked out of the traditional career path.  This exclusion from traditional work opportunities is a challenge that the government has directly taken up through the development of a quota system, which many businesses have failed to adhere to.

This challenge is multi-factored, creating a large role for entrepreneurs and innovators. In this month’s forum, we are privileged to have two speakers join us to speak about their work on developing businesses that are building awareness about the capabilities of these individuals, or are leveraging those capabilities of these individuals to build amazing products and services to the market.

This session’s speakers will discuss their passion for the issues, and how they tactically turned that passion into action.
